Today, we're gonna take a look at the Reese Max Duty Underbed Custom Mounting system for your Gooseneck and 5th Wheel trailer hitches on the Ford half ton trucks. This does have a 14,000 pound gross towing weight capacity. Now, this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2015 and newer Ford F-150 trucks. And on a custom fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show if this will work for your application.

Now you can install this underbed mounting system on your half ton pickup truck to tow with either the Reese Max Duty 5th Wheel or the Max Duty Gooseneck Hitch. It is designed to work exclusively with the Reese M5 Max Duty, 14,000 pound 5th Wheel trailer hitch, which we do sell separately on our website. And this will also accept the Reese Max Duty above bed Gooseneck trailer hitch. Pop-up an insert on what that looks like. And that's part number RP62VR. Both of those will fit inside or into this underbed mounting system. As you can see, this has a nice, wide platform design, ensures a nice stable mount.

It is a vehicle specific design, which allows shorter installation time and less drilling required. Basically, as we said, just use the vehicle, look up at the top of the product page to find the right fit for your truck. It does use the underbed puck system, which provides a nice clean truck bed once your hitch is removed. So when you're not towing anything, this will all be underneath your truck and you have full use of your truck bed.
