Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at a 12 LED beacon light. This beacon light features 12 LEDs and 12 flash patterns to keep your vehicle visible on the road. It's SAE J845 Class 1 rated, and CA13 certified. LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last longer, they burn brighter, they're more efficient. With LEDs, you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs, or worry about brittle filaments.
This unit contains a black plastic base, and you can permanently mount this unit or you can temporarily mount the unit. You can use the three holes in the base for permanent mounting, as well as some hardware. Hardware not included. And then at the center here, you have a magnet that allows you to temporarily mount the unit. It also comes with a pad to protect the mounting surface, and then you can also remove this screw right here and remove the magnet, which exposes a threaded connection point for attaching the unit to a one inch threaded pipe. It plugs into a standard accessory power outlet.
The plug has a built-in on and off switch, and the cord length is around nine and a half to 10 feet long. When it comes to the dimensions, the diameter at the base is six and five eighths inches. Overall height is six and seven sixteenths inches. Again, it has 12 flash patterns to choose from. To program or switch between the flash patterns, you need to remove the lens, and then there's a red button located right here. Remove the lens and push the red button to switch between the patterns.
This unit contains a total of 12 diodes, or 12 LEDs. Voltage is 12 to 24 volts, and amperage is 2.7 amps at 12 volts. I'm going to go and hook it up to power, and I'm going to cycle through all the flash patterns that it has to offer. It has a solid option. So this is flash pattern number one. Number two.
Number three. Four. Five. Six. Seven. Eight. Nine. Ten. Eleven. Twelve. And then we're back to the solid. I'll go ahead and do that with the overhead lights turned off. And then with the lens on, you can see that it still allows plenty of light to come through. So we have one. Two. Three. Four. Five. Six. Seven. Eight. Nine. Ten. Eleven. And twelve. And then we should be back to the solid. And that's going to do it for today's look at the 12 LED beacon light.
