Used this electrical tape during the rewiring of a trailer rehab. The sticky adhesive managed to get on the fingers while wrapping, but the price was more than reasonable and the bottom line is that this tape does the job. Even bought 3 extra rolls so's I could keep one each in the tool bags on my bikes.

Good to hear from you and also good to see that Yall take a real interest in customer input regarding your products. Unfortunately, Im not the best for offering a legit follow-up as weve been dealing with Family health issues from the time of the trailer rehab back then right up until the present. I did manage to complete the project, but have had to park the trailer thereafter and it hasnt been used yet. If it helps you at all, I can assure you that we were extremely pleased with just about every item that we purchased from you with the exception of but one item. That item was the electrical tape which was actually pretty messy to work with and, no offense, but I personally wouldnt buy that item again. All other items ? Superb quality! Even tho the trailer hasnt been in use as hoped, I have the utmost confidence that the products bought from eTrailer will perform exceptionally and with the greatest satisfaction. Whenever the opportunity arises, I still refer others to eTrailer without any reservations whatsoever. Keep Up The Good Work!

Pretty standard electrical tape; sticks well, is cheap. Used conservatively, it will last you through many projects.

I needed some electrical tape and added it to a larger order. It's as good as any at a good price.

  • What Should Be Done With Unused Wires on the Furrion Single Zone Controller
If the two brown wires aren't going to be used, I'd tape them together really good with some electrical tape # PTW502 and put them somewhere out of the way. You can even put some heat shrink tubing # DW05451 on over top of the electrical tape to keep them nice and protected. This way if you ever were to hook up a furnace, all you'd need to do is cut the heat shrink and electrical tape off and you'd be ready to go.

  • Can Vehicle with Damaged Trailer Wiring Be Driven
You'll probably be fine. I would try to separate the exposed wire as much as possible and if you can get some electrical tape like the part # PTW502 to cover the exposed wire that would be your best option. Worse case scenario you might blow a fuse.

  • Troubleshooting Brake Controller that Shows Output Voltage all the Time
There's a short between the stoplight circuit (red wire) of your brake controller and the 12 volt power wire (black wire) which is tricking the controller into thinking the brakes are applied. Go through and insulate the wiring better with electrical tape like # PTW502 where the connections are made and the issue will go away.

  • Ventline Push-Button Switch Replacement
The Replacement Push-Button Switch for Ventline Trailer Roof Vents Item # BV0199-03 is a simple two wire lead install. As with all electrical work you'll want to ensure the power is off by turning off the breaker before removing the old switch and then you'll be able to just hook the new switch's leads to the vent leads the old switch leads were on. I recommend sealing the wire connections with some Electrical Tap Item # PTW502.

  • Troubleshooting Trailer Running Light Fuse Blowing on Truck
I think you have it basically nailed down and the issue is that you have a short to ground on the trailer running light circuit on the right hand side of the trailer and would need to go over the wiring to see if you can find any cut or exposed wire and fix as needed. Sealing the exposed wire with electrical tape like part # PTW502 would be all you'd need.

  • Will Arcing 12 Volt Accessory Wire of 7-Way Cause Dash Error Codes
You definitely found the problem with the arcing wire! You need to insulate that wire better to prevent that. You can do that pretty easily with electrical tape like our part number # PTW502.
