Hi everybody. My name is Andy with etrailer.com. And today we're taking a look at Coghlan's LED tent light. Now, are you looking for a light that can provide 360 degrees of illumination in your tent or at your campsite, like on a picnic table, whether you're trying to eat in low light situations or read, or just enjoy some time with your friends and family around the picnic table Do you need a light for a situation like that Or maybe in your RV, you just wanna light up a corner of your RV or maybe have a nice portable light for you when you're reading by your bedside, whether it's in your tent or in your RV or in your cabin, or even in your home. You could even use this light for maybe hanging up in a closet in the home as well if you're needing some illumination there. If you're looking for something like that, this may be a really good option for you to consider.

Let's take a closer look at it. This LED light has a durable silicone body that makes it water resistant, which is nice. And it can withstand bumps and falls as well. I'm just kind of moving this around here for you. And the silicone is very nice and flexible.

It does feel like it could take some impact. Let me give you a wide view here. Just I wouldn't recommend doing this at home all the time. But if you drop it, it'll kind of give a bounce and you don't really have to worry about from small drops damage to this at all. So it is this nice silicone that will take some impact, but also provide water resistance, and it's anti-slip as well.

So if you set this on a table, even at a slight incline, you're not gonna have to really worry about that sliding off of the surface of the table. It also has what they call a split loop or split hoop rubber handle. And what's nice about this is if you wanna hang this from a string or a cord that cannot be detached, like in your tent or anywhere else, this can just split in half and go around that cord or that string. And so you don't have to worry about having to detach that core. This will open up and go right around that.

So that's a really nice convenient feature. And it'll lock into place. And I don't think you're gonna have to worry about that coming undone accidentally. It also has convenient controls at the top. We have our power button here, which turns it on and off, obviously. And then it does have four brightness levels. So you have a plus sign here to increase the brightness and a negative sign here to decrease the brightness. So let me try to give you an idea of just how bright it is and what it looks like lit up. I'm gonna shut the lights off here in my studio and turn the light on. So I hit the power button, it comes on at its brightest level. And then to turn it down, you just hit the negative button and it'll kick it down to it's lowest level. And so again, you got four settings. This is the lowest, the second, the third, and then the brightest. And so it's really nice. And again, a total illumination from the sides and from the bottom. And it's just a nice pleasant light. The light output is 120 lumens. And then the light run-time on the lowest setting, which I have here, they estimate 40 hours of run-time at the lowest brightness. And then at the highest brightness, which I have here, they are estimating 20 hours of run-time at the highest brightness. So let me turn the light back on so I can see what I'm doing. This does take three AAA batteries. So this does not come with batteries. So you'll have to supply that for yourself locally. But it does take three AAA. And as you can see, it's very easy. The panel just slides down, and then to close it, just slide it back up, and you are good to go. Let me give you some measurements here while we're here. The overall length, or let's look at the height. The overall height of this light is right about three inches tall. And then when you bring the handle up, which by the way, has this really nice tab. You can stick your fingernail in or thumbnail, it will come right up. Add another inch to that with the handle. So you're sitting right at about four inches altogether when you have the split hoop handle up. The overall width of this light, we are sitting right at about, right about four inches altogether with your width four inches. Now, if you're looking for something that's brighter than this, again, this is a about, this is 120 lumens.
