Hi everybody, my name is Andy with etrailer.com, and today we're taking a look at Coghlans Camping Popcorn Maker. Now this popcorn maker is gonna be perfect for giving you the ability to pop corn at your campsite, over a fire, or even over a portable camping stove. Or also, if you want to use this at a fireplace in your home, you can use this to make popcorn that way. This has a very nice non-stick cooking surface, so clean up is going to be a snap with this. And as you can see, it has a handle with a wooden grip that is going to keep your grip cool. And that's gonna be a very comfortable grip to use as you're holding this over a fire, or using this in a fireplace.
I do want to mention that this handle is adjustable. As you can see, there is an extension in the handle right now. If you're gonna be using this over a stove, and you want to make this a little more convenient to use, you can just use the wooden handle portion, and that'll make it a little more manageable for you to use over a stove. But it is recommended that if you use this over a campfire, to pop in this extension, and that's gonna give you a little bit of a safer distance to be able to use this over a fire. Let's take a closer look at this and give you some measurements here.
Looking at just the popper itself. If you're interested in the length of the popper, we're gonna be sitting right at about 9 3/4" long, and taking a look at the width of the popper, we are sitting right at about 7 1/4" wide. And the height, I'm gonna say, it's a little over 3", just because of the rise in the lid. So a little over 3" with the height, and then in regards to the bottom, and the bottom does taper off. So we're looking at about, line that up here, about 8 1/8" long, and then wide, we're looking right at about 6" wide, right at about 6" wide on the bottom.
Now the handle, let's pull this off again here, just to show you how that works. The handle, just by itself, with the extension, is gonna be sitting right at about 14 1/4" long. And then the overall width of this handle, at the widest point, is gonna be right at 1" wide. Again, I mentioned that this handle does come apart, and the extension by itself is gonna be sitting right at 6 1/4" long. And just the wooden part of the handle is gonna be sitting at 9 1/2" long.
And before I put this together, this does come apart for easy storage, so you won't have that handle that you have to worry about at the end if you're wanting to store this for easy storage, this all comes apart. And so that is gonna be nice and convenient. And then when you have the handle attached, the overall length, including the popper, to the tip of the handle, is gonna be about 24" long. Now we have multiple other cooking solutions here at etrailer for a campsite. So if you're looking to not only pop corn, but if you're wanting to toast bread or bagels at the campsite as well, I would recommend taking a look at GSI Stainless Steel Outdoor Glaciers Toaster. That's gonna give you the ability to toast bagels, and bread, and other items similar to that nature. And you can find that on our website item number GSI93MV, and you would use that over a camping stove. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today at Coghlans Camping Popcorn Maker. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..
