Today we're going to take a look at the Slime self-sealing bicycle tube for 29 inch mountain bike tires, with the Schrader valve design. Now this Slime self-sealing tube will come pre-installed with the slime tube sealant inside the tube, and that's used to seal the tread area punctures and prevent any flat tires. This tube will install just like any regular tube, there's no difference. Basically what happens though, when you get a puncture on this tube, there's fibro-seal particles in the slime sealant that's inside the tube, and it will cause it to clot and create a flexible, long lasting plug. What happens is the escaping air pressure forces slime into that hole or puncture, and it instantly repairs that puncture. It will seal multiple punctures on the tube, and it does repeatedly seal one puncture for about up to two years.
This tube will work on mountain bikes with the Schrader valve design, which is shown here. It just looks just like this, and it fits tire sizes 29 inch by 1.85 inches wide, up to 2.2 inches wide. Now the sealant that's inside this is a non-flammable, non-toxic sealant. That should do it for the review of the Slime self-sealing bicycle tube for 29 inch mountain bike tires with the Schrader valve design.
