Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're take a look at the Slime self-sealing 16 inch bicycle tube with the Schrader valve. Now this slime self-sealing tube comes pre-installed with Slime tube sealant on the inside to seal any tread area punctures. It is designed to instantly seal tread area punctures up to 1/8 inch diameter, and they will seal multiple punctures. It repeatedly seals when it's been punctured for up to two years. And when a puncture occurs, what happens is the escaping air pressure will force the Slime's fibro seal particles into the hole instantly repairing the puncture.
It is non-flammable and non-toxic, and it does install just like a regular tube. Now to find out which tube you need, you just check the sidewall of your bicycle tire to find out the tube size to buy. This one here is designed to fit tire sizes 16 inch diameter by 1 3/4 inch up to 2 1/8 inch width tires, and it does include the Schrader valve for air inflation.Basically to know what valve you have, there's two types of valve stems on bicycles, the Schrader style and the Presta style. Schrader valves are the more common found on most bicycle tires and the Presta valves are commonly found on higher end bicycles. But that should do it for the review on the Slime self-sealing 16 inch bicycle tube with the Schrader valve..
