Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a real quick look at this PTC custom fit engine air filter. Now, as I mentioned, this is a custom fit filter and it is designed to fit your 2017 to 2019 Hyundai Ioniq 1.6 liter I4 engine, and then your 2017 and newer Kia Niro, 1.6 liter I4 engine. And then, finally your 2018 and newer Kia Niro PHEV 1.6 liter I4 engine. Now, this air filter is going to replace your vehicle's existing filter to help protect your engine from contaminants and improve airflow, improving acceleration and mileage. The embossed paper pleats are going to trap dirt and debris and other particles, and this is going to easily install in your engine's air filter housing. The silicone ceiling gasket is going to ensure a strong seal between the filter and air intake box.
Now, this is an exact replacement for the Ecoguard, Wix, Puro, and Prem Guard numbers that you see there on your screen. And it is important to note that the manufacturer recommends changing your air filter every 12,000 to 18,000 miles or once a year. Delivery took so long that I started to doubt that the order had gone through. I got tired of waiting and bought one locally and installed it. I’ll use this one in the future so it all worked out.
My package arrived in ok condition! Way to much much room to be shaken and be destroyed. Luckily mine arrived ok. Some of the original packaging was dented and deformed do to over sized box! I got lucky!

Looks like good quality, but the car is new and I haven't installed it yet.
I clearly identified my vehicle as a 2000 Mercedes Benz E320. The air filters (3) which you sent me are the right width, but are an inch too long, and are therefore unusable. They cannot be made to fit in the air cleaner compartment. Not acceptable.
