As long as you have the HDX Grille Guard this rubber strip is long enough to cover both uprights on the guard. If you have the Sportsman Grille Guard manufactured after 2012 you need part replacement rubber strip part # 40-1004. The Sportsman Guards manufactured before 2012 did not use the rubber stripping.
