Today we're going to be taking a look at the Ultra Faucets Plastic Bracket for Hand-Held Shower Sets. This is made from a plastic construction. It's going to feature a brushed nickel finish to offer a very nice look. The bracket simply holds your shower head and offers two positions. One position is more of an upright position, that's going to be the back position. The other position, or the forward position's going to offer a little bit more downward tilt.
It does come with the mounting hardware, so you're going to get two wall anchors and two mounting screws. I just want to take some measurements real quick of the unit. Kind of the diameter here, at the two locations. This one is going to give us an opening of about 15/16ths of an inch, so pretty close to one inch diameter. The other one is going to measure the same. It gives you an idea of the size of shower head that this will hold.
Typically down by the connection point, where the hose connects to the shower unit, that's the area that would feed into this and hold the shower head in place. Taking a look at the overall width, here, where it would mount to the wall. How much space it's going to take up on the wall, it's going to be about an inch and a half wide by two and 3/16ths of an inch tall. The depth, or how far it's going to stick out from the wall, measuring from the back to the outer point here, that's about one and 3/4 of an inch. The mount holes are going to be separated apart from one another, on center, by about one and 3/16ths of an inch. I ordered a similar part from Amazon but they didn’t give a detailed description of the dimensions so the piece ended up being too small.
