Hi, everyone, it's Evangeline, and today we'll be taking a look at the Saris Management End Caps for your straps for your Saris bike racks right here at etrailer. So, whether you have your older Saris Bones Bike Rack or you have the new one, this is gonna be the Strap Management End Caps, definitely an upgrade from where you used to have to tuck those excess straps away and tie them up like you have to do for other trunk-mounted bike racks. So, what I'm gonna do is I'm actually gonna show you how to upgrade your old Bones Bike Rack since these are gonna be the direct replacement for the new ones. So, ideally, you would do this switch-around with this on your garage floor or at your table, but I'll do this on the car just to see how easy that is. So first thing you do if you have the old bike rack is just to take off this inner piece that has grooves. You're then gonna bring these through your hooks in order to take it off completely.

Once you've taken that other liner out, you're then gonna replace it with your smooth liner. That's gonna pop right around your strap. Since it has that opening, it's a lot easier than what you had to take out. So then, your end cap is gonna fit right into your buckle without the strap on. Just move that into place.

Put your strap back in, and tighten everything down as usual. So, then you're gonna feed your excess straps around the end cap and then just push the rest of those straps through your bike rack. So, rather than rolling them up and taking the time to do so, like you had to before, you just push this in and then pop that end cap on top of it. So, for your old Saris Bones Bike Rack, that's pretty much all there is to it other than you can go ahead and tuck your hook-and-loop straps that you used to use before. Just keep them around the straps themselves 'cause you don't need them anymore.

So, you can see how that was a super quick and easy install, even with this already on our hatch. So, definitely worth upgrading. If you have the older version, go ahead and pick these up and upgrade your bike rack.
