Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the Roadmaster BrakeMaster Custom Seat Adapter. This is a custom fit for your 2019 and newer Chevrolet Equinox. Basically the way this works, it's going to mount to the front, hold down points of your driver's seat. It's going to create a direct connection for your BrakeMaster system so it's going to be much easier to get that BrakeMaster system installed and to make sure that it is aligned properly so that it will push on that brake pedal correctly. This bracket is going to be a permanent installation, so you're not going to have to put it in and take it out every time you're wanting to get your BrakeMaster set up.
It is low profile so it's going to remain hidden beneath the seat when you're not using it. You're not even going to know it's there. But then when you do need to hook up to your BrakeMaster system, it's going to be there for you to hook up to.This is a very high quality metal so it's going to hold up and do a good job for you. They do include all the hardware that you're going to need to get your BrakeMaster system hooked up to this. This does conform to the floor of your Equinox so that's why it's a custom fit.
It is designed to work with your Equinox specifically so that you're not going to have any parts sticking out that could cause problems for you. It's going to go along with your vehicle. So if you're needing a way to attach your BrakeMaster system to your Equinox, this is going to be the piece that you need. It's going to do a good job for you to make sure that everything is working properly, and it's going to make it much easier to get your system set up so that you can get onto the road sooner and get to your campsite or wherever it is that you're going much faster and easier.That's going to complete our look for today. I installed it while installing the Roadmaster direct-connect baseplate and smart diode lighting kit. Best to install before reinstalling your bumper cover on a 2023 Equinox LT (AWD).

Fit perfectly
Very easy to install. Looks to be very sturdy and should work as designed. Just installed yesterday, 01/28/21, and have not been able to test it as of yet,

Easy to install once I purchased the T50 torx socket. Perfect fit.
