The rack was easy to install and after some adjustment, it holds well to the roof. It is well made and strong. It holds my light rack on very well at high speeds and hard cornering. Conclusion, its a great rack for a vehicle that doesn't have facitory rack mounts. Installation will go easier with a friend to help.
Installs nicely, helps make the small Prius C feel less small with a roof top carrier, and/or to carry lumber, canoes ect.
Rhino rack makes a great product. I use my roof rack to lug ladders around and I'm not gentle with em. Rhino rack doesn't have a scratch.
This rhino rack system worked perfectly on my ram after some adjustments from the directions. Excellent fitment! Works great with my roof rack!
The measurements listed for the inside trim strip were incorrect for my car, despite the model being listed on the spec sheet. I’ll have to guess at what it should be to get the other pieces to fit. What a massive disappointment and I regret purchasing this. I should have gone with a better brand.
Installation was relatively easy. Like others have mentioned here, make sure you pay attention to the instructions. Make sure the pads with arrows are pointing to the front of the car and you're relatively accurate with the suggested mounting measurements.
I rode with them on the car for about 900 miles - hot and rainy weather - and they make a really weird noise. Haven't been able to confirm if the noise came from the wind rushing in between the roof and the bars, or, as my uncle thinks, from the slot spaces under the bars that hold the 4 mounts.
I later attached a Leader Accessories Upgraded Roof Rack (64"x 39"x 5') carrier basket to the top of the rails and the noise went away. The carrier has a wind deflector in the front, go figure.
I drove another 1000 miles with the rails and carrier with some stuff in it and it handled very well.
In any case, I like the way they look on our 2016 Honda CRV SE. Admittedly, I'm scared to take the mounts off to see if they leave a dent or scratch. I'm pretty sure they will, but still happy with them.
I'll try and update this review after I remove them.
Love the rhino rack system. I just need to remember to check the tightness of everything each time I use it. My wife and I purchased this to put kayaks up on her Rogue which had not roof racks. This system is easy to use and works great. We have now added the rhino stack for the kayaks and can fit more up there! Thanks etrailer.
it fits the Honda CR-Z, but the instructions included did not say that. I contacted support and was given directions immediately, like 30 minutes later. That was great, but they kind of didn't work anyway. Go forward from the B pilar by measurement "A" and backward from there by "B" which is easy but B>A and the door ends at the B pilar...
Regardless, I made it work with about 20 inches of spread. I posted some pics of the rack in the bar review, I think rhino rack 2500 series with euro bars (square bars)
Rhino Euro Rack arrived in good order. Took a little over one hour to install with easy to follow instructions. Very satisfied with the finish and construction. After fine tuning, fits perfectly and very stable for kayak hauling. I shopped for months for a "naked" rack for my Ranger. After reading so many glowing reviews, I went with the Rhino over the other two major brands of roof racks.
Overall, happy with the product. I found that every few days after long drives the roof clamps loosen slightly and need to be re-tightened, depending on your load. When first installing the roof clamps, one of the clamps had a small metal bur on the edge (manufacturing defect) which left a nice sized scratch in the roof. Other than that, the rack has been a good product for the price.

13 ft 85 lb fishing kayak 2010 Toyota Matrix. Car has slanting roof and variable thickness roofline. See photo. OEM rack position would make front of kayak point up in the air causing dangerous lift.
Rhino rack provides different length clamps for the slanting/tapering thickness roofline - rack is positioned for level load.
Etrailer excellent website with detailed photos allows easy comparison. Prices and selections better than manufacturer's and other websites.
Customer service is also excellent, they promptly responded to calls/emails even on weekends and made extra effort to get out-of-stock items delivered much faster than expected.
Rhino Rack 2500 series with Euro Bars for 2017 Chevrolet Spark - naked roof
I purchased the Rhino Rack from etrailer and received it very quickly. The rack appears to be well made and very sturdy. It was the only roof rack I could find that would fit my Chevrolet Spark, it is probably not a car that people usually put roof racks on. I did run into a problem fitting them to my car. The instructions tell how long to cut plastic strips that fit into the bars and locate the towers at the right width on the bars to fit the roof. Having cut the strips and installed the towers I found that the towers were several inches too close together to fit the roof (the strips are actually marked in millimeters).
I called Rhino Rack and the person there told me there was an error in the instructions and told me what lengths to use. He also agreed to mail me new strips. I then proceeded to locate the towers to the measurements that I was told to use, adding pieces of strip to achieve the new lengths, to check if that would fit. I found that to get the front rack to fit at the specified location, front to back, I had to shorten the strip on each side two millimeters and to get the back bar to fit at it's specified location I had to shorten the strips by six millimeters. With the towers now fitting I attached the clamps and found the rack to be solidly attached and should serve well for transporting my new kayak. I plan to replace the strips when I receive the new ones. One less star for the fitment issues.
I am a stickler for reading directions. I was able to assemble and install the Rhino Rack with little to no difficulty. It fits my 2017 Honda CRV perfectly. I have not yet tried it out with a canoe, however, I feel it will work quite nicely. And, it make little to no noise even without a fairing wind diverter. The customer service was extremely helpful as it was a gift from my wife. She wanted to be sure it was the correct type for our car. Also, the price was right!!!
carry my old town pdl 120 kayak on my 2014 Ram 3500 Crew cab dually. Heavy kayak. I'm a full time rider and sometimes travel hundreds of miles before stopping. Never had an issue. Front rack had a lot of wind noise but I wrapped paracord around it...problem solved. Worth the money!
Very happy with the results. Rhino Rack would not confirm a fit for my 2019 Chevy Equinox LT. The installation instructions listed cutting the front measuring strips at 120 mm for the front crossbar for the Euro bar. This left my legs a good six inches too narrow to span my roof. After some tweaking I achieved a good sold fit. None of your competitors would claim they had a fit kit for the 2019 Equinox. Thanks to etrailer.com for recommending this product.
I purchased this rack for our 2015 Nissan Altima. We ordered the system with the square "Euro" bars. Package arrived quickly and in good condition. Instructions were generally good and easy to follow although the information on where to set the supports on the "Euro" bars was incorrect. I looked at pictures of installed systems to see where the supports needed to be on the roof and then manually moved them in place. It took a little adjusting back and forth with trial and error, but it ended up working fine. Since then the rack works well and seems quite solid. We are pleased with the quality and value for the cost.
Works great! The rack is mounted on our 2015 Honda CRV and holds all of our outdoor gear; skis, backpacks, and gear. Never has anything gotten damp or damaged and the Custom DK Fit Kit is what keeps it all secured to our car.
I bought the entire Rhino Rack package, it was super easy to put on and it came with everything I needed to attach it. Great customer from these guys and fast shipping. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a rack.
Shipping was fast and installation was fairly easy with the instructions they provided. Now I have the perfect roof rack for my surfboards! Very satisfied with my experience here and will return in the future.
I've only just installed this rack but it seems alright so far. The most annoying thing for installation was the length to cut the rubber strips was wrong in the instructions. I had to re-cut them and will have to do so again in order to get the rack to lock, leaving them in multiple pieces which seems un-ideal.
Super easy installation, very happy with the product! We got this not only because we wanted to be able to take more on trips after we added another member to the family, but also because we wanted drop be able to take more out in case we have to evacuate from a fire here in Northern California.
Good sturdy product. Installation instructions were a little confusing in some parts, but nothing too complicated that I couldn't figure out. Order came fast, impressed with the quality and price, and looks awesome on my truck.
Product came quickly and in tact. All parts and instructions were there and very easy to read. My only complaint was the measurement using the Euro bar. It said 41 and 58 but those measurements are way too short. I triple checked to make sure I’m reading it right. Was still able to get it to fit and it fits and looks great

Ended up putting this on my 2019 Nissan Rogue. The end result looks great. Because my car is newer the measurements it came with in the directions were incorrect. So if you are putting it on a newer vehicle you have to just kind of wing it or find the proper measurements elsewhere, which is a bit time consuming but definitely worth it. It whistles a little on the highway but I’m sure it can be adjusted so it won’t. All parts fit well and it looks great!
