Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look at this Weldon trailer frame mounting plate for your Hopkins Engager Breakaway Kit. This base plate is specifically designed for the side mount 20099 Engager Breakaway Kit and it should be mounted onto the side of the trailer frame or trailer jack rather. And there is no drilling required. Now breakaway kits, as you no doubt know are a safety system to protect your trailer.
In the event that becomes disconnected and this is a weld-on design eliminating that need to drill holes into your trailer frame. Lemme go ahead and retrieve my ruler here and just give you some overall dimensions. So beginning with the overall length as you can see we are sitting right at seven inches long, and then the overall width, we are sitting right at four and a half inches wide. And then removing this nut real quick, I wanted to give you the overall height. We are sitting right at an inch tall and it does include this hardware that I have loosely mounted here.

Excellent communication, very knowledgeable, and extremly fast shipping. I bought the plate, the lid and the box for my engager after my son stepped on it getting the trailer packed and broke the box. I wanted a better holding device than just screwed onto the trailer.

This will get welded to the jack or trailer frame and then with the included hardware you would secure the battery box to it. I would only use the trailer jack as an install point if your trailer has a non-swiveling jack that has square tubing.
