Video Transcript for Review of Durabilt Strap Winder - DU94GR

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this strap winder, and this winder has these four inch long prongs that will allow us to wind up a two inch to four inch wide winch strap, so that we can keep our straps organized and stored properly. This is going to mount very easily onto a solid plane of about up to a 3 1/4 inch thick. So I've got my little display tower here, so we'll get this mounted in place. We've got the turn handle on the top that's going to thread that bolt in to give you a nice sturdy connection, and then it's as simple as taking your winch strap, feeding it through those prongs there, and then beginning to twist. Now, it might take a minute, a little bit of effort to get that wrapped on itself, then once it's started, you just easily feed it through, cranking with your one hand and guiding the strap with your other, it's gonna be very, very easy to work with to ensure that your strap is going to get wound up properly.

And then when you're done, you can simply slide that off, and then you've got a nice tightly wrapped strap, so it's gonna be very, very easy to store, keep all your straps organized, because really, that's the biggest pain with those straps is trying to unravel them when they're all tangled up on each other kind of a wrap test. So this does have a nice aluminum construction, so it is gonna be very lightweight, very durable, corrosion resistant, so will hold up well for you. So very, very convenient to get mounted in place, and then just wrap up your straps. Now, this handle and prong system can be switched, it's just a simple twist, so if you're more comfortable using one hand or the other, you can just switch it around like that, or depending on your mounting location, if it's gonna be difficult to wind it up on one side, you can switch it to the other, very, very simple to do, so you can get that strap wrapped up the way it works best for you. So that's gonna complete our look for today.

Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
