Today we're going the take a quick look at the Derale Remote Oil Filter Mount with 1/2 inch NTP left side ports. This allows you to reposition your oil filter at a more convenient location, somewhere that's a little bit easier to reach. So we'll have our in and out ports labeled at the top, this side will be the in, that side will be the out. We'll also have the threaded piece to connect from our filter mount to our filter itself. You want to make sure that the shorter end where those little indentions are, that shorter end goes into your new filter mount and then the other side goes in to your engine filter.The engine filter thread size is 3/4-16. Our ports are 1/2 inch NTP.
And it's constructed overall of a high quality, heavy duty aluminum. Has that three bolt design so we can mount that up securely. It doesn't come with any hardware to mount that, so you will have to drill some holes and find some hardware on your own.Overall it measures about 4 inches wide. Going from the bracket to the center of where our filter would be, it's about 2-1/2 inches. At the widest point going this direction, it's just over 3 inches, maybe 3 inches and 1/8.
And the bracket is about 1-3/4 inches tall. The distance between our mounting holes center to center, is about 1-1/4 on both sides and at the bottom it will be about 2 inches apart. That's going to do it for our look at a Derale Remote Oil Filter Mount with 1/2 inch NTP left side ports.
