Today we are going to be taking a look at part number CU81083. This is the COMEUP front mounting channel. The mounting channel is designed for a universal foot down winch installation. It is going to be made from a quarter inch steel when it comes to the construction. It is going to have a durable and strong black power coat finish on it. That is going to do a good job at resisting rust and corrosion. Your mounting hardware is not included.

This will fit certain models of the COMEUP winches so to see if it will work for your particular application, we are just going to take some time and go over some basic, helpful measurements. The platform on this unit is going to contain an eight hole design so you are going to have your four center holes for mounting your winch and then you are going to have two holes on the sides to mount it to a surface. All these holes are going to be elongated. They are going to measure the same. They are going to measure 1/2" by 7/8". The four holes in the middle are going to be separated apart from one another going this direction by ten inches and then front to back, they are going to be separated by 4-1/2 inches. The outer holes are going to be separated from front to back by 3-5/8" and then going lengthwise, they are going to be separated by 25-7/8". The platform itself is going to give us an overall length measurement of 27-1/2".

Taking a measurement of the width here, front to back, we are looking at about 7-1/2" internal. It is going to give us a width of 7". On the front, we are going to have the mounting area for our inaudible 00:01:43. These holes are going to give us a diameter of 9/16". They are going to be separated apart from one another, center on center, by 10". The opening right here, that is going to give us a measurement of 9" and then height wise, that is going to measure 1-1/4". The back lip, that is going to have a height from the top of the platform to the top of the lip of 1-1/4". The front lip, from the top of the platform to the top of the lip, that is going to give us a height of 2-1/2". That is going to do it for today's look at part number CU881083. .
