Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Replacement 12 volt Detachable Power Unit and Wireless Remote for the ComeUp Seal Gen2 and the DV Winches. Now, this 12 volt power unit right here is what'll power your ComeUp winch. It contains a contactor solenoid that will transmit the power from the vehicle's battery to the winch motor. It is a 400 amp contactor that's located in the unit, and it is sealed for submersion in water or mud. Also at the very top, you can see if I pop open this plug, there's a rubber sealed six pin plug on the top of the power unit that houses the attachment port for the remote control, you'll just plug your plastic remote into this power unit when you need to use it, and then disconnect it to store it away when you aren't using it.

When you aren't using it, you just put the rubber cover over it, and that prevents water from getting into the unit when it's not using the remote. This does use copper terminals and stainless steel and carbon steel hardware, which is corrosion resistant, and the motor leads right here, they do have the rubber boots on them for water resistance. The cables you can see do have a color band on them, so they're color coded, and they're also printed with the wire gauge size for easy installation. The shorter black cables right here are 20 inches long, the longest cable is this red positive battery wire cable, which is 66 inches long. Now, for your convenience or to better fit in a tight space, this power unit can also be removed and mounted remotely using an extended wiring kit, which we do sell separately on our website.

Included with this power unit is also this wireless remote control, waterproof remote control, has a nice hand strap on it, and it'll let you power the load from up to 90 feet away.
