Speaker 1: Today we're gonna take a look at the type 24 brake chamber for the air compensated four hole and six hole mount pintle hooks.Now, this type 24 brake chamber will fit the air compensated pintle hook models part number 337P45AC4 and 337P45AC6. Both those we do sell separately on our website, and I happened to pull one of them, and this is what that air compensated pintle hook will look like and this chamber's what works with this. Now, it does require the use of a mounting bracket, which is this part right here. It's part number 337P45AC4BK, and this will allow you to mount the chamber to the pintle hook.But what we're gonna talk about is the air chamber here. This will connect to your vehicle's air system, and then it connects to the pintle hook right back here to this plunger. This screws into there, and it helps save wear and tear on the parts by reducing slack and movement of your connection, especially in sudden motion or braking situation.

It holds the draw bar eye closely to reduce wear. You can see this where the plunger attaches to, this slides in and out, so with the air pressure from your air system, it will push up against your lunette ring that's in your pintle hook here. Helps absorb shock, reduce wear, and prevent uncoupling. Makes for a more comfortable ride through shock absorption between the vehicle and the trailer.Now, this chamber is black powder coated.
