Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Bulldog Winch Alpha Series, winch wireless remote kit. This is going to allow you to operate your winch without having to worry about the wired remote that came included with your winch. So, this is going to free you from the hassles of a tangled wired remote. It's gonna reduce the getting caught in the bushes and that sort of thing.

And it's going to extend your reach. So, this is going to work from up to 65 feet away. So, it's going to give you a lot more versatility in operating your winch. This is going to work for the Bulldog Winch Alpha Series winches, that you see on the screen there. And the reason it's so specific is because this is going to plug right in place of that original wired remote that came included with your winch.

So it plugs right in place of that. And then it's going to mount onto your power unit. They do include some click and loop tape here. So you just peel off the adhesive backing there, stick it on the back, and then put that other side down on your power unit. So it's very, very easy to get installed with that Alpha Series Winch.

And then once you have it installed, your in and out buttons are going to retract and deploy your cable on your winch. It does have a "delayed power on" setting. So, it's going to reduce the chance of accidental use. If you had this in your pocket or something and accidentally press the button, it's gonna help to minimize the chance of messing up your setup like that. You can see it does have this lanyard hole here.

That's going to allow you to attach a lanyard or keychain to help keep track of this. It is gonna be much more convenient for you, not having to worry about that wire or wired remote being connected to your winch. Gives you a lot more freedom in how you can walk around and not have to worry about that cord getting caught on anything. They do include instructions here for you to get the remote all set up but it's a very, very simple process. Basically, just plug this in and you're ready go.
