This wire rope is made of high-strength, aircraft-grade galvanized steel that is zinc-plated to resist abrasions and withstand harsh UV rays, chemicals, and extreme temperatures. It's more abrasion resistant than synthetic rope, less susceptible to damage from harmful sun rays, and you don't have to wash it after each use.
It is recommended to use this rope with a hand-saver strap (sold separately) in conjunction with work gloves (sold separately) so that you can safely handle the rope and hook. A rock bag (sold separately) is also recommended for added protection. The rock bag helps prevent a broken rope from snapping back if it breaks by forcing it to the ground.

So if something happened to that original rope, maybe it got rusted out or happened to snap or something else happened to it, this is going to be a direct replacement from Bulldog Winch for your application. The rope itself measures a hundred feet long and it's five sixteenths of an inch in diameter. So, if you have a winch that used that kind of rope before, that wire rope, this should be a great replacement for you.So let's take a little closer look. At the end, you can see that it has the red paint to kind of give you an indicator, whenever you're getting close to the end of the line.
It looks like that goes back about three feet. So it gives you a pretty good sort of warning of you're getting close to the end. It does have the eyelet at the end, with that reinforcement to make sure that it gives you a nice place to attach any kind of hooks and grab lines and things like that.It is made out of an aircraft grade, galvanized steel. So you shouldn't have any worries with rusting. You should be able to withstand UV rays and chemicals and extreme temperatures.
Should do better than a lot of synthetic rope that can fray pretty easily. The thimble is stainless steel, so should help it to keep in place, overall.
