Hello everybody, this is jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the custom mounting kit for the Aries ActionTrac motorized running boards. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2009 and newer Dodge Ram and Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 crew cab and extended crew cab trucks. And on a custom fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle and it'll show if this will work for your application. Now this is a custom mounting kit that'll let you install your Aries ActionTrac motorized running boards on your vehicle.
Now those ActionTrac motorized running boards we do sell separately on our website and they are basically motorized running boards that lower automatically and they create a pair of steps on each side of your vehicle. This kit here is the, it's the mounting brackets to install those running boards and they use steel brackets. Let me just sort of zoom in here. These steel brackets here, very strong and durable. You can see they have a nice black powder coat finish to 'em to resist corrosion.
And the brackets do use the existing, pre-existing factory holes and the LED lights over here. These LED lights will mount on the brackets to improve visibility and ensure safe entry and exit. The wiring harnesses, they do a split wiring harness, which will install directly to your vehicle battery via the door panels and it is an easy no-drill installation with all the included hardware here. These parts are made in the USA, you can see they do give you a nice installation manual that will describe how it all goes together. Specs again, it includes the six steel mounting brackets, the two LEDs, the split wiring harness and all the hardware needed for installation.
