Micheal: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the ACE camp folding mat. This mat is going to be very lightweight, it's less than two ounces. So it's going to be very easy to take along with you, it folds up compact size, comes with this carrying case so that you can easily take it with you. It's going to give you a comfortable place to sit with different size options.

You can open it up and fold it to whatever size you're needing. So if you're out on the trail, you want to sit down instead of sitting on a hard log or something like that, you can easily put this over top of it and give it a little bit more cushion there, so it's more comfortable for you. If it we're me, I would probably fold it up like this and use it as a portable pillow. Just to give you a little bit of elevation there, to support your head and make it nice and soft.This does have a waterproof plastic foam design. So it is going to be great for use outdoors.

You're not going to have to worry about getting it wet. You can collapse it and fold it out into different shapes or heights, depending on what you need. So very versatile here. Our measurements, our total length, is going to stay the same, no matter how we fold it. And that's right there about 12 inches long.

When we have it completely unfolded, like it is here, we're going to measure just shy of 16 inches, call it about 15 and three quarters probably. If we want to fold it in half, it's going to take that down to about seven and seven eighths, just shy of eight inches. And then if we we're to fold it like that, we're going to be right about four inches in total width.Our heights, obviously are going to change as we do that. So when it's completely forward like this, it's only about two inches tall. We cut that in half, like that, looking at, probably right about one inch and so on.

So I would assume next one's going to be half inch and maybe just a little bit shy of that half inch mark, but not too far off. So if you're looking for a easy pad to take with you on the trail, while you're out camping, whatever you are doing, this is going to be a great option for you. It does have an R rating of 1.6. So it is going to give you a little bit of barrier from the cold if you we're to use it on a park bench or something like that, when you're out watching a sports game. It will give you a little bit of protection from that cold, but it's not going to be its primary use, but it will make it a lot more comfortable for you.You can see once we put it in the bag here, we've got closure to make sure that it's nice and closed in. This is a nice water resistant material. So like I said, if I we're using this as a pillow, I might just leave it like this, pull it out of my pack and have it there to protect my head. But lots of different uses for this traveling pad. So if you want a little extra cushion, this is going to be a great option. That's going to complete our look for today.
