Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look and showing how to install the access replacement tarp for Access Vanish Soft Roll-Up Tonneau Covers, part number A91311. This tarp is a direct replacement for your Access Vanish Soft Roll-Up Tonneau Covers. It's made with the same polyester mesh as your original tarp. It attaches to your existing rails. You'll just need to transfer your hardware from the old to the new. We'll show you how to do that now. Here you can see exactly why we need to replace our Tonneau cover.
The hook and loop has become separated from the tarp. We'll start by removing the bolt here on each side that holds our tension adjustment in place, and the size is 9/16. Now we need to loosen, but not remove the second tensioner bolt underneath our header, that's located right here, and we need to do that on both sides. Now we can slide the whole tension adjuster away from the side rail. Now you can lift your old tarp out of place. I've got both of my tarps laid out.
We're going to be transferring hardware from the old one to the new one. We'll start by removing the screw here. Again, you'll want to save your hardware, as we will be reusing it. We'll repeat the same process on the other side. With both screws removed, we can simply just slide the header out.Now I've got each tarp laid out upside down.
That way we can easily line them up and transfer the hardware. So we'll just take the header, we're going to move it to the front of the tarp. The way we tell it's the front is it's got these loops here in the front for our safety straps. So then we'll just re-slide this one in place. Once we've got it centered and lined up, we can reinstall our screws. Now if your straps we're bolted on, now would be the time to run them through your new tarp and bolt them back to your header.
But if they're sewn on, like they are here, unfortunately, you'll be losing your straps. For our rear bar, it's the same as the front. We've got two screws on each side. The only thing different is we need to guide these straps out through here. And then you can repeat the same process on the other side. Then we'll just slide it out.Now if you have an end cap, you'll want to be sure and remove it. It's going to make it a lot easier to slide it back in place. Then we'll just slide it in place. Same as before. When you get to the end, you'll want to replace your end cap. Then while we're here, let's run our straps back through here. And finally, we'll replace our screws on each side. Now you can flip the whole thing over, then roll it up and then we'll head over to the truck. Now we'll set it in place at the bulkhead, and then we're going to reattach our tension adjusters. Get it nice and secure, and then we'll also want to re-tighten the tensioner underneath here. Now let's unroll it and check our fit. Looks pretty good. Let's just lock it in place, and then attach our hook and loop. And that's going to complete our look at installation of the replacement tarp for Access Vanish Soft Roll-Up Tonneau Covers, part number A91311.
