Hey everyone, it's Evangeline, and today we have the ARB ratcheting straps for your ARB base racks. This is gonna allow you to ratchet down cargo to your base rack without having to get extra tie down points. We're gonna take a look at how it works here at etrailer.com. I personally am a big fan of using the tie down points with my own ratchet straps, but these are gonna be ratchet straps designed specifically for the base racks. You can see how they take advantage of that dovetail system of your base rack, so you have hooks that clamp around any part of your tray. Now these are attached to nine foot long and 10 inches of ratchet strap where you have that ratchet lever at the back.
This has a standard ratcheting design where we have our springs that allow us to get the tightest fit for our ratcheting strap. Now the way this works is you get two sets of these straps and ratchets with this kit. Well, I'm currently using this with a duffel bag, this being an almost 10 foot long ratchet strap is gonna be ideal for if you need to carry around large items on your base rack. Maybe you're moving and you need to carry a sofa around, or you need to strap down a Christmas tree. Being able to move this along the sides of your base rack, as well as along the slats, make this versatile for those larger loads.
This is gonna have a weight capacity or a pull strength of 330 pounds per strap. Well, I do like the versatility as well as the strength of the ARB ratcheting straps, especially these clamps, since they can go around any part of the dovetail track system of your ARB base rack, whether it's on the sides or on the front. I personally, if I was gonna be carrying around, let's say smaller cargo that's just covering maybe one or two slats, I would go ahead and get the ARB tie down eye bolts instead and use separate ratcheting straps. We have so many ratchet straps available here at Etrailer in different shapes and sizes, and making sure you have the right ratchet strap length means you don't have as much excess strap that you're gonna have to tie off. But if I was to carry larger items, bulkier items, and I want to make sure I have a really strong strap, that will really secure the cargo to the ARB base rack, That's where these come in handy, that's where these shine.
These definitely work at making sure you have a secure fit around your cargo and that adds to the safety of your adventures. So whether you're looking to get these straps or you want the other option of eye bolts and other ratcheting straps, or you want both, you can find them all right here at our website. But this was a look at the ARB ratcheting straps that are nine feet and 10 inches long, and you saw them etrailer.com.
