As the name implies, these Rogues are sporty, you know, and nice little SUVs, and putting a trailer hitch back here is gonna open up your opportunities on what you're gonna be able to do with it. So whether you're trying to use an accessory, like a bike rack or a cargo carrier, or you're trying to pull a small trailer around, or a little bit of both, this hitch back here is going to allow you to do that. Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2015 Nissan Xterra- Video
Hey everyone, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the curt trailer hitch receiver, here on a 2015 Nissan Xterra. So this is what our trailer hitch looks like installed on the vehicle here. Now it does sit out from the bumper a little bit, but it has a nice black powder coated finish, which really gives it a great overall appearance, and it's also gonna help protect the hitch from rust and corrosion over time. So adding a trailer hitch to your Xterra, it's gonna be an excellent option because it's gonna make your vehicle that much more versatile. Now we can obviously use a trailer hitch for towing, but let's say we wanted to hit the trails or just simply free up some space inside the vehicle for us and the family on those long road trips, you could easily attach either a hitch mounted bike rack or a hitch mounted cargo carrier. So in regards to towing, our trailer hitch is gonna provide us with a 4,000 pound gross trailer weight rating. more

etrailer Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2022 Nissan Frontier- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look and installing the etrailer Class III trailer hitch receiver on a 2022 Nissan Frontier. So this is what our trailer hitch is gonna look like when it's installed. And the great part about it is the cross tube is pretty well hidden underneath the rear bumper, so all that's hanging down is gonna be the receiver end here. So that way you can still hook up your accessories but still maintain a very clean OEM look. You're gonna see it has a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening with a reinforced collar, so that's gonna be great for a number of different accessories, whether it be a ball mount, a bike rack, or a cargo carrier. Now, when you put your accessories in your receiver, you're gonna make sure you have a 5/8 hitch pin and clip. more

Hello neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look and installing the Draw-Tite Class 3 Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2022 Nissan Frontier. Now this is what our hitch is gonna look like when installed and great part about that is most of the crossbar is hidden by the rear bumper. So really all that you see hanging down is gonna be the actual receiver tube opening and the plate style safety chain loops. So overall you get a nice clean OEM appearance and all the utility. more

And today we're taking a look at installing a class one Curt trailer hitch on a 2019 Nissan Maxima So here we actually have our trailer hitch installed and you can see it's tucked under there pretty well. So it gives it a nice kind of OEM appearance there. And you're gonna see this is an inch and a quarter. So while it is a little bit smaller, that's still gonna allow you to hook up some of your bike racks or cargo carriers. How's it going Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today, on our 2017 Nissan Murano, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the etrailer.com class III two-inch trailer hitch receiver. Now, right off the bat, one of the main questions we get is if when you're using a hitch, if you're still going to be able to utilize that factory liftgate assist. Well, this particular Murano does not come with that option, but I personally had experience putting hitches on these Muranos in the past and if you have that option, then I can assure you it'll work just fine. Now, one of the things that separates this hitch from some of the others is that it is going to be a little bit more hidden. Gonna sit a little bit further back, and it's also going to have a matte black carbide finish, which helps it disappear as a result. more

Curt Class I Trailer Hitch Installation - 2011 Nissan Juke- Video
Today on our 2011 Nissan Juke, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class One Trailer Hitch Receiver. This is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. You can see the cross tube is visible, however, it is nice and tucked up close to the bottom of the bumper fascia, so it's not gonna take away from the design of the vehicle. This is gonna be a Class One Hitch, so it's gonna require the use of Class One Accessories. It's gonna be inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening, reinforced collar, give it a little extra stability there, hitch pin hole, is gonna be half inch in diameter, it's gonna take a standard half inch pin. Now it does not, the pin and clip does not come with the hitch, however, it can be found here at etrailer.com. more

Now, what we can see, the receiver tube, it has a nice black powder coated finish, which is going to do a great job of helping the hitch hold up to rust and corrosion, being that it is on the underside of the vehicle. Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're going to be going over and showing you how to install the "etrailer" trailer hitch receiver, here on a 2020 Nissan Murano. So adding a hitch to your Murano is going to be an excellent idea because it's going to make your vehicle that much more versatile. Now we can obviously use the trailer hitch for towing but if we want to free up some space, inside the vehicle for those long road trips, or we just want to hit the trails, we could easily attach either a hitch mounted bike rack, or a hitch mounted cargo carrier. So, in regards to towing, our trailer hitch here has a "Class 3" rating, which is going to provide us with a 3,500 pound gross trailer weight rating. That's the amount we can pull outward on the receiver tube. And it also has a 350 pound tongue weight rating, which is going to be the downward force on the receiver tube. more

So this is what our trailer hitch is gonna look like installed, but something I really like about this particular one, is that it has a hidden design. So, what this means is the cross tube that attaches to the receiver in each frame bracket, is actually hidden up behind the bumper there, therefore giving us the best overall factory-like appearance. It's also gonna provide the best ground clearance because the receiver tube is tucked up nice and tight underneath the bumper. So if we take a closer look, we're gonna see a durable black powder coated finish, which is gonna help, one, blend in with the bumper well, and two, it's gonna help protect it from rust and corrosion, being that it's on the bottom of the vehicle here. We're also gonna have a nice rounded collar on our receiver tube opening. more

Now, one of the big questions we get asked all the time is if you can use a brake controller with your NV 1500, and you can, you just will need to get a couple of different things. One being a trailer wiring kit, an ETBC7 kit and finally a brake controller. A couple of brake controllers I really like are the Tekonsha P2 and P3. more

Whenever you go to use it, you can't go directly underneath the hitch, it probably won't work like that. But as long as you go to one side or the other, it should open right up. more

The way you're going to do it, though, you need to kick your foot to one side or the other of the hitch. more
