We have a few options that will work for your 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
If you want to retain the 7-way connector at the back of your Jeep and add the 4-way connector The Hopkins 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector, part # HM40975 will work well for you. My on ly concern is if you have the length from the existing 7-way to plug into the back of this connector. If so, then you are good to go.
Another connector you may want to consider is the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # C55774. This gives you a little more working room than the Hopkins adapter and will still give you the same features of a 4-way and a 7-way at the rear of your Jeep.
Another option to take a look at is the Curt T-connector wiring harness, part # C55384. This plugs directly into the OEM wiring and lets you retain the 7-way while adding a 4-way connector.
When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the electrical connections and helps prevent corrosion.
I have attached links to some videos for these mentioned products you can check out.
