How to Install a Prodigy P3 Brake Controller in a 2004 Toyota Sequoia
Question:
i was looking at the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional, i have a 2004 toyota sequoia and was wondering since i dont see an installation video on your site if this product is just like the one i saw for the 08 sequoia where you pretty much plug in one cord and attach the controller to your dash and you are done, is the above mentioned one the same? or will i have to pay someone to get it done because its a complicated install. Thanks for the help and have a great day

Helpful Expert Reply:
If your 2004 Toyota Sequoia has a factory 7-way trailer connector at the rear of it (it looks like yours does) all you would need to install the Prodigy P3 brake controller part # 90195 is the correct harness part # 3040-P.
This adapter plugs into the 5-pin connector on your vehicle's built-in brake control wiring harness. The harness is located underneath the dash, to the left of the steering column, taped to another harness near the emergency brake pedal. I attached an install video for you to check out.
