Brake Controller for 2009 Nissan Armada with Factory 7-Way
Question:
My 09 Armada did not have the factory tow package I since went back to the dealer and added the 3 relays and added the 7 pin trailer socket at the back and it works great. What do I need to add electric brakes, does it come with the mounting bracket and appropriate circuit breaker or do I need to buy that seperately?

Expert Reply:
Since you had all the wiring and circuit breakers needed for brake controller installation on your 2009 Nissan Armada installed by the dealer, the only thing you need to do is plug in the brake controller. It comes with what you will need to mount it (bracket and screws). All that is left is to plug the adapter, included with the Tekonsha P2 Proportional Brake Controller with Nissan Adapter, # 90885 and # 3050-P, into the brake controller and vehicle. The harness on your 2009 Nissan Armada will be located underneath and left of the steering column, taped to another harness near the emergency brake pedal.
