You should always use tires of the same size, construction, and load range on a trailer. Using unmatched tires can cause issues like overloading and or overheating, which will result in tire failure. Differently sized tires will cause the trailer to track unevenly behind the trailer, and will also cause trailer sway. I have attached a helpful article about tires you can check out.

You will want to check the tires you currently have on your trailer and match it. If you have a tire that measures 4.80/4.00-8, I recommend part # AM10002. This is a load range B bias ply tire that will work with wheels that measure 8 x 3-3/4 inches. The maximum load for this tire is 590 lbs at 60 psi. For a load range C tire I recommend part # AM10004. This tire load capacity is 745 lbs at 90 psi.

If the tires on your trailer are 4.80-12, the load range B tire I recommend is part # AM10060. This tire fits 12 x 4 inch wheels and has a maximum load of 785 lbs at 60 psi. The load range C tire that is the same size is part # AM10062. This has a maximum load of 990 lbs at 90 psi.

If you are looking for a wheel/tire combo for your trailer, I have attached a couple of links for the product pages that show the wheel/tire combos we have available.
