Gooseneck Hitch Recommendation for a 2011 Ford F-150 with a 5-1/2 foot Bed

will this fit my 5 1/2 foot bed, on my 2011 f150 platinum, I saw where someone said something about raising the bed an inch or more???

The Draw Tite Gooseneck Hitch part # 9465-37 that you referenced is confirmed to work on your 2011 Ford F150 with a 5-1/2 foot bed.
The review you read about the bed being raised 1.5 inches meant that he raised the bed a little bit to install the hitch. This hitch does not permanently raise the bed of your truck at all.
For additional clearance for turning you may also be interested in the offset gooseneck ball part # 19308.
