Tie Down Recommendation for a Harley Being Towed In a Trailer

I have a Harley that I trailer once in a while. I am looking for ratcheting tie-downs that automatically tighten as I am pulling the trailer and hitting bumps. Do you carry anything?

If your motorcycle is tightened down properly there would be no need for a tie down system that would automatically tension itself. Also, there isn't a system available that is capable of doing this. If when you hit a bump your motorcycle is working itself loose that would indicate that it wasn't adequately secured.

The part # IMF18804 would do an excellent job securing your motorcycle as long as you used them properly. I always had the best luck running a tie down to each handle bar and then another one over the seat.

I spoke to my contact at Classic Accessories and she told me that there would be no reason the Classic Accessories Covers #052963799842 couldn't adjust down to your 62 by 74 inch trailer door opening.

Self tappers like the part #SL99FR would work great as they have drill bits on the end which would make it through the metal of your studs and then attach.
