Curt Weight Distribution System Recommendation for a 30 ft Airstream Trailer
Question:
I am purchasing a 30foot airstream trailer. The unit base weight is 7365lbs., gross vehicle rating is 10000lbs. The hitch weight w/LP, and w/o options, water, and cargo is 773lbs. Would the Curt C17322 be the right application?.

The best way to pick out a weight distribution system is to base it off of the loaded tongue weight of the setup when it is loaded and ready to tow, this figure also includes the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. I attached an FAQ on determining tongue weight for you to check out as well.
If when your setup is loaded and ready to tow the tongue weight is below 1,000 lbs then yes, the # C17322 would be an excellent choice for you. But until you get an exact figure it would be hard to say for certain what would work best.
If you need a higher rated system I would go with the part # C17333 as it has a range up to 1,500 lbs of tongue weight.
