Roof Basket Recommendation for a 2014 Dodge Journey with Factory Crossbars
Question:
I am looking for a roof carrier - preferably the Rola or the Rhino that will work the the 2014 Dodge Journey Mopar Crossbars. These crossbars have tightening knobs that stand proud of the bar itself and are spaced approximately 38inch on center 36.75inch in between them on the inside and 40.75inch on between outside edges.

Based on the dimensions you gave me the Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket # RMCB02 would be your best choice. This basket can fit crossbars that are up to 3-1/2 inches wide and are between 24 and 44 inches apart.
Your spread of 38.5 inches would work well, and based on the difference between the center to center dimension you gave me and the inside to inside dimension you listed your bars should be 2-1/2 inches wide. Check out the review video I attached.
The part # RMCB would be too short for your setup.
