Is it Possible to Use the CE Smith Bunk-Style Guide-Ons part # CE27660 with a Pontoon Boat

Im planning to purchase a pontoon boat and Im looking at options to help center the boat on a trailer. It seems that these could conceivably be reversed to capture the inside of the tubes. Thoughts on this type of application would be appreciated.

You could potentially run the CE Smith Bunk-Style Guide-Ons part # CE27660 on the inside of the trailer frame rails so as to guide a pontoon boat on from the inside of the boat. The only issue is that these aren't height adjustable. These might stick up to high for your boat to fit over. They are 21 inches tall.

I spoke with my contact at CE Smith and she told me they have not tested these guide-ons with a pontoon boat.

There's no reason you couldn't install the CE Smith Bunk-Style Guide-Ons #CE27660 on the front of a boat trailer frame if you wanted to. They can attach to the trailer frame at any point to help guide your boat onto the trailer.

Yes, you can change the angle of the bunks in the CE Smith Bunk-Style Guide-Ons #CE27660. The brackets that hold the bunk boards are bolted to the tops of the posts so once the angle needed is set you would tighten those bolts to keep that angle.
