For the Curt D-4 Trailer Hitch Ball Mount 3/4inch Rise or 2inch Drop what shank length should I get for the ball? Thanks

You will need a ball that matches your trailer coupler. The required ball size should be stamped into the top of the coupler.
For a 1-7/8 inch ball you will want hitch ball # 19260. For a 2 inch ball you will want # 63849. For a 2-5/16 inch ball you will want # C40007.
