Product Needed to Raise Scooter Carrier on Rear of Minivan

Hi, Re: Roadmaster High-Low Hitch Adapter - 4inch - 10,000 lbs GTW 400 lbs TW Code: RM-048-4 I cant safely use this product to attach a scooter carrier + scooter to my minivan hitch? The setup weighs about 250 lbs fully loaded, and its dragging on dips in the road. thanks,

All the Roadmaster High Low adapters we sell are meant to be used on a rolling load (a vehicle being flat towed with all 4 wheels down) only. They're not meant for towing a trailer or carrying hitch mounted accessories, so I couldn't recommend using it for your scooter carrier.

I'd recommend using the Curt # D210 multi-purpose ballmount. This item provides an additional receiver that is raised by about 3-1/2 inches. It would certainly provide additional clearance for you. the receiver portion of the ball mount is rated at 350 lbs, which should work fine for your scooter and its carrier.
