Will Universal Installation Kit ETBC7 Work with 2014 Ford Escape with Tow Package
Question:
Will the # ETBC7 Work with 2014 Ford Escape with Trailer Tow Package?

Expert Reply:
Yes, part # ETBC7 will work with your Ford Escape. If your vehicle does not have a 4-Way trailer connector you will first want to use Tow Ready T-One Vehicle Harness, # 118566.
With a 4-Way installed, you would then add the 7 and 4 Way Installation Kit, # ETBC7. This kit provides a 7-Way and 4-Way at the rear of the vehicle along with the wiring and circuit breakers needed to install a brake controller.
I have included links to 2 FAQ articles on installing a brake controller from scratch, along with a video showing the installation of an ETBC7 kit on a 2011 Ford Escape. The installation should be similar on your 2014 model.
