Locking Hitch Pin Recommendations for a Trailer Hitch on a 2007 Honda CR-V
Question:
I have a 2007 Honda CRV. which hitch pin do you recommend to prevent theft?

To deter theft, a regular hitch pin such as # PC3 for a 2 inch hitch or # PC2 for a 1-1/4 inch hitch would not do anything. A thief could just pull of the clip and pin and remove the accessory installed in the hitch.
A locking hitch pin like # e98880 for a 2 inch hitch or # e98879 for a 1-1/4 inch hitch is the way to go. These will actually lock the accessory to the hitch. Without the key a would-be thief would have to have power tools and enough time to defeat the lock. Thieves are a little smarter than that and would move on to an easier target.
