How to Wire in a Tekonsha Voyager Brake Controller in a 2009 GMC Sierra

I am unsure what wire colors on my 09 gmc sierra go to my voyager xp brake box

On your 2009 GMC Sierra, below the steering column, there is a bundle of wires tied together with white tape, located left of the brake pedal. This bundle of wires is the tow package for the brake controller. Carefully cut the white tape binding the wires, and pull the wires down from underneath the steering column.
Red from your vehicle will go to the black of the Tekonsha Voyager brake controller # 39510.
Dark blue from your vehicle will go to the blue of the brake controller.
Light Blue or Orange from vehicle will go to red of the controller.
White will go to white.
There are a few other connections that need to be made under the hood of your truck. Check out the FAQ article I attached that details these connections.
