Parts Needed to Install a P3 Trailer Brake Controller in a 2014 Acura MDX with Factory 7-Way
Question:
Do you offer a harness adapter for a 2014 Acura MDX with tow package installed? The 3070-P appears to be the correct adapter but it does not state it will work with the Acura MDX.

If any harness is going to work, it is the # 3070-P, since it fits the 2014 Honda Pilot which is the Honda cousin of the MDX. But it has not been officially confirmed to fit the MDX so I cannot guarantee that it will fit.
I recommend hardwiring in a controller using wiring kit # 5506. You would remove the wire in the 7 oclock position attached to the back of the factory 7-Way. You would then install the wire included with # 5506 in its spot (the included wire actually has 2 wires in it, a white and a black, just use one or the other).
Route the wire under the vehicle, avoiding areas that may pinch or burn the wire, and into the vehicle cab, likely through the firewall. Attach the wire to the blue brake controller wire.
For the rest of the installation you can follow the relevant parts of the instructions I have linked.
