Will the Kuat Sherpa Bike Rack Fit a Class III Trailer Hitch on a 2010 Ford Escape

Will this rack fit a 2inch class 3 hitch receiver? What hitch do you recommend for a Ford Escape 2010 to fit this rack? Thanks

Yes, the Kuat Sherpa Bike Carrier, # SH22G, will fit a 2 inch Class III trailer hitch receiver.
For your 2010 Ford Escape, I also recommend installing the Draw-Tite Class III Trailer Hitch, # 75751. The Draw-Tite hitch has the highest tongue weight ratings out of all of the trailer hitches offered for your Escape. Keep in mind, you will be limited to the tongue weight and towing capacity of the Escape, so I recommend checking your owners manual to verify the weight capacities specified by Ford for your Escape.
We have installed this hitch on a 2012 Ford Escape, so I attached the installation video and instructions in case you plan on installing the hitch yourself. The installation will be the same on your 2010 model. I have also attached a demonstration video of the Kuat Sherpa on an Escape for you.
