Are Bearing Buddies Compatible with Standard Trailer Bearings and Seals

Question:

I just bought a set of BB1980A for my 2011 16 feet Sportsmen travel trailer w/ single Dexter 2500 lbs axle and the size fit perfectly. But Im wondering if I need to change something else like specific bearing, grease seals or something else prior to install the BB? Or if I just need to remove the factory plain caps and the BB instead and then fill them with bearing grease until full? My travel trailer is only 3 years old with very low mileage and bearing/races/seals are still in perfect condition. Thank you.

All you need to do to install and use the Bearing Buddy Protectors part # BB1980A is remove your current caps like you did and install the # BB1980A. This product will work with your current bearings and seals just fine.
