Recommended Bike Racks That Allow Full Cargo Area Access for 2001 Toyota Rav4
Question:
Hi, I have a 2001 Rav4 and I would like to attach 2 bikes. I also would like to have full access to the backdoor. Is there any bike rack that fits? Thanks

For full access to your rear door without the need to remove the bikes from the rack before opening the door, I'd recommend the Yakima FullSwing, part # Y02465. The rack is capable of carrying up to four bikes, can swing out of the way to allow full cargo area access, and features an anti-rattle hitch pin to prevent the rack from moving around in the hitch. Locks are included. To use this option, you'll need to install a hitch if you don't already have one. I'd recommend the Curt Class III trailer hitch, part # C13524.
This is the best option that would allow full access to the cargo area of your Rav4. I have linked you to a product demonstration video you might find helpful.
