Finding the Right Brake Switch Wire to Install a Brake Controller on a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Question:
I have just one question, brake controller and all wiring installed, except the brake switch wire, not sure which one to connect to.The connector has several wires there, is there only one that will have power when petal is pushed? Thank You in advance

There should be only one wire that has power only when the brake pedal is pressed. There is likely another wire that will have power with the brake pedal and if the head lights and/or turn signals are on. You want the one that only has power with the brake pedal and nothing else to install the brake controller on your 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The wire you are looking for is likely a green and white wire. You will want to test the wires, starting with the green/white wire, using a circuit tester such as # PTW2992 if you need one.
