Is My Gooseneck Coupler Still Ok To Use?
Question:
I have a trailer that only has the 2 bolts to tighten in back of gooseneck and no load bearing pin will this still work?

Hello Preston. The 2 bolts are not totally uncommon for a gooseneck coupler, however there should be a pin or latch to hold the coupler in place. If this pin is missing, the coupler is not safe to use. I am not sure exactly what brand or style of gooseneck coupler you are using though, but if pieces are missing you would not want to use it and I would have to recommend that you replace it.
