Does Reese Under-Bed Gooseneck For Ford F-350 Have Specified Height From Frame

Question:

With my truck not having the inner brackets, I’ve ordered those as well. There’s no clear direction on how high, or low to mount the hitch, as the mounting holes are oblong, and can move up or down. Is there a specified “height” the hitch should be from the frame?

Hi Pat,

Thanks for the purchases and the answer is no, there isn't a set height to install the Reese Under-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # RP39FR on your F-350. Reason for that is the mounting brackets install using specific, set spots on your truck's frame rail, and the bolts will fill the hole. Then the mounting rails will install on top of the brackets, and the height will be fixed.
