Solution For A Dometic 310 Toilet With A Damaged Flush Ball
Question:
Hello, I have a 2011 Keystone Springdale 294 BHS camper trailer, with a Dometic 310 toilet. The toilet was not keeping water in the bowl, so I replaced the flush seal, and while I was doing that I noticed that the flush ball is cracked. However, I do not seem to be having any luck finding a replacement ball for this model toilet. Im finding plenty of ball replacement kits, but theyre all for 500 series Dometic toilets. Do you know if there is a replacement flush ball kit available for the Dometic 310?

Hello Ed. Unfortunately, the flush ball on the Dometic 310 Toilet # DOM57FR is not replaceable. Believe me, I wish they were, because we get asked about this a lot. If the flush ball is damaged, you will have to replace the toilet with a new one.

Gotcha, just heard back from Dometic and they concur. Since it looks like I gotta replace the whole thing, do you have any recommendations for a comparable toilet, preferably one which allows for the replacement of chintzy plastic internal parts like that flush valve?
