Can Curt Plug and Play Flat Tow Wiring and 4-Way Be Installed At The Same Time On 2013 Fiat 500
Question:
fiat 500 already has the c58911 flat tow wiring harness. Ive just installed a hitch will the C56174 work with it? or do i have to unplug the c58911 when not flat towing? eg. plug in one or the other.. not both?

Expert Reply:
Since the Curt # C58911 and # C56174 use the same connection points you will not be able to install both at the same time. If you really want to swap them out when you tow/flat tow you can but that is going to be a big hassle. Instead, I recommend using the # C59236 which splices in for installation. It isn't ideal when there is a plug and play option but it will let you keep both installed on your vehicle.
