The only tow bar system that can possibly work with your older 1972 Chevy Blazer is the Curt Adjustable Tow Bar - Coupler Style for 2" Ball # C19745 which is more of a universal style and requires you to install the brackets directly to your vehicle.
You'll also need the following to wrap up your flat towing setup:
- Coiled Safety Cables # RM-643
- Magnetic Tow Lights # TL21RK
- Brake Buddy Classic 3 # HM39494
Be sure to check your owner's manual for any specifics regarding flat towing.
